Ayame: rough feeling, drawer isn't sturdy

It arrived looking just like the photo, and it looks nice but I am unhappy with the "feel" of it. It isn't smooth and I can't tell exactly what it is even made out of, but it's possibly splintery. The drawer pulls out rough and flops downward at a huge slant while open.
