Dependable, solid, and powerful – this is the hallmark of the C Series. Offered in 8x and 10x magnifications, the C.1 features crystal clear extra low-dispersion ED glass, fully multi-coated lenses, and a durable, yet lightweight polymer frame. At 24 oz 8x and 24.5 oz 10x 12x , the C Series is one of the lightest mid-sized binoculars in its category. This dynamic mid-range binocular utilizes the same dielectric coated Schmidt-Pechan prism system that can be found in our B.1 and B.3 binoculars to produce an exceptionally clear, bright, and high-contrast image. Waterproof, fogproof, and scratch resistant lens coatings will ensure unimpeded field use. Rest assured, this workhorse will deliver when you need it most.
Includes neoprene neckstrap, lens caps and double-layered microfiber storage bag.
After spending a small amount of time in the field with them I concluded that they were pretty dang close to the quality I had experienced in the Zeiss Conquest 10 42 pair I had used in the past. But instead of 900 dollars, the C.1 10 42 comes in at 350dollars. Although I don t think it s an apples-to-apples comparison, they also stood up fair next to my Swarovski 10 42 EL Range.
Introducing the Maven C Series a dynamic mid-range binocular and a perfect companion to the B Series. Just like that dependable pickup, this workhorse gets the job done. This powerful binocular features a well-balanced lightweight polymer frame, extra low-dispersion ED glass, and fully multi-coated lenses for an exceptionally clear, bright, high-contrast image with excellent color reproduction.

I bought the binoculars for birding and just completed two days at some of Northern California s most active wildlife refuges. The Maven binoculars proved to be excellent. My wife has Zeiss 8 x42mm binoculars so this provided the opportunity for a comparison. The Mavens compared very favorably with these binoculars which cost approximately five times more. We swapped back and forth during the two days and both come to the same conclusion. The only time the Zeiss binoculars were marginally better was in low light conditions. Otherwise the two binoculars were very comparable.Read full 22 ratings for Maven C1 8X42mm ED Binoculars Gray Orange at Amazon Reviews
